Role Overview & Responsibilities

Involve Recruitment are an experienced and established recruitment business based in Manchester. We specialise in recruiting for the construction sector with both temporary and permanent staff.

As an independent recruiter we are able to offer bespoke recruitment solutions, tailored to meet the needs of our client partners. Due to ongoing expansion, we are looking to recruit a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our team. Based at our Salford Quays office your role will be varied and include:

• screening candidates and drawing up shortlists for clients to interview/ fill immediate assignments
• research the local market place for opportunities for temporary and permanent recruitment in your given sector
• support the branch in the overall achievement of revenue targets
• making arrangements for the advertisement of vacancies
• helping applicants to prepare for interviews/ advising on temporary assignment information
• building relationships with clients, through a variety of mediums such as telephone calls, face to face visits and marketing material

No day is the same in recruitment. In order to succeed in this role, you will likely have had some sales experience, either over the phone or face to face. You will be a confident communicator, both verbally and written and have a resilience and persistence when it comes to making the sale.

An educated background is preferable but not essential for the role and necessary sales and recruitment training will be given. You will need a high attention to detail and be target driven. Moreover, you will be hardworking and willing to go the extra mile to ensure success.
