Assistant Manager

Role Overview & Responsibilities

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager to join the team at iBounce Exeter. Our Trampoline Park and iPlay Soft Play Centre offer both adults and children fun, entertainment and plenty of activity!

Under the direction of the General Manager the Assistant Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day Trampoline Park and Soft Play operations and staff.

Primary responsibility is managing daily activities to achieve exceptional customer service, safety and satisfaction. The role will also include staff training/first aid and development of staff to ensure our high customer service levels are met. As part of the onsite management team, the Assistant Manager will be able to assume the role of “Manager on Duty” as needed.

• Responsible for the opening and/or closing of the building

• Excellent customer service skills and great ability to speak with all sorts of people is crucial, both in person and over the phone

• Act as the eyes and ears of the operation, addressing all needs and situations as they arise.

• Enforce all safety rules, operating procedures and waiver policy

• Assist with general facility/trampoline/soft play maintenance

• Overseeing the café

• Performs all duties in all aspects of facility operation

• To operate the sales and booking systems including cashing up takings

• Other management duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will have:

• Management experience

• A lively, outgoing, friendly and confident personality and project an energetic and proactive approach to customer interaction with the emphasis on making the customer experience fun and memorable.A flexible working attitude, good organisational skills and a focus on keeping the site well presented, clean and safe to all of our customers, are all absolute requirements!

• You should be able to take instructions and dedicate your full focus to the task whether that is working alone or part of a team.

• Café and basic cash handling experience is essential as well as the ability to work shifts covering a mixture of weekdays, weekends and evenings.

(All staff are required to be able to work weekend shifts).

Hours offered will be around 35-40 hours per week

Salary: £12.00 per hour
