Weekend Poultry Farm Worker

Role Overview & Responsibilities

A vacancy has arisen for a poultry worker at our modern, well-equipped Layer Breeder Farms. Hours are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m Saturday and Sunday plus some additional hours to cover additional weekends, sickness or annual leave. You will need to be confident to walk around hens and cockerels. Duties include the care and welfare of the chickens, picking up eggs and grading eggs for onward hatching. Experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided. Own transport is essential as public transport is not available. No avian pets allowed. Only genuinely interested individuals need apply.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary: £10.00-£15.00 per hour
