Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Home Cleaner to help maintain a clean and organized living environment for our home in Palterton (just outside of Bolsover) and help look after our two lovely dogs.

The ideal candidate will be available to work 6 hours per week on Mondays and Thursdays, from 9ish till 12ish. However, we are willing to adjust the working hours to accommodate existing responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and tidy up all living areas of the home including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living rooms
• Dust and wipe down furniture, surfaces, and appliances
• Vacuum and mop floors
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and kitchen surfaces
• Change bed linens and wash towels as needed
• Empty trash and recycling bins
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
• Clothes washing and drying / putting away

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a cleaner or housekeeper is preferred, but not required
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Must be able to communicate effectively with homeowners
• Must have own transportation to and from the job site
• Ability to pass a background check

Working Hours: This is a part-time position, with 6 hours per week on Mondays and Thursdays. However, the working hours can be adjusted to suit the candidate's existing responsibilities.
