Role Overview & Responsibilities

EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A NURSING HOME- ESSENTIAL

To create and cook comforting and delicious meals for our residents. They love nothing more than traditional meals presented beautifully!

Help to make our residents smile with their favourite meal, we need you to be friendly and approachable and willing to get stuck in.

We are a family run, renovated care home. We have residents with a range of food requirements.

To maintain catering skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain that currency of practice.

To provide leadership to the catering functions of The Home.

To supervise the catering services within The Home in accordance with agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations, and in line with accepted best practice, and within the financial plans agreed from time-to-time.

To keep on top of stock taking of food and ordering accordingly as well as kitchen audits.

Pay rate dependant on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.42-£11.00 per hour
