Role Overview & Responsibilities

Day Traffic Planner

Our client is recruiting for a team player, self-motivated, dedicated with the desire to succeed, improve our operations and able to offer the following .

· Have experience working within a busy transport office as a traffic planner

· Have a high level of communication skills with the ability to build excellent relationships with drivers, suppliers, customers and team mates

· Be able to problem solve and plan/route own allocated vehicles effectively

· Be able to operate systems such as Destin8, TOP’s, Port VBS systems.

The role would also include the following

· Providing excellent customer service and communication

· Ensuring vehicles are presented on time for servicing and maintenance schedules

· Welcoming new and agency drivers, assisting with inductions and ensuring the relevant compliance checks are completed

· Briefing and debriefing of drivers and nights team

· Updating of all relevant systems

· Ensuring the security of the depot is maintained and health and safety guidelines are followed

Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
