Role Overview & Responsibilities

Honeypot Medical Centre is a well-established, forward-looking, innovative general practice, serving a practice population of approx. 16,500 patients. We are looking for an enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our friendly team. You will be working alongside another full time HCA, an experienced Practice Nurse, Independent Prescribing Nurse Practitioner and Advanced Nurse Practitioner. We also have a team of 7 experienced and supportive independent prescribing practice pharmacists. We encourage and support learning and professional development and have access to HCA training from our CCG. We provide mentorship and weekly educational meetings in house with our clinical team.

Duties would include phlebotomy, administration of flu, pneumococcal/B12 injections, spirometry, diabetic foot checks, NHS health checks etc.
