HSE Manager

Role Overview & Responsibilities

For our client in Oil & Gas sector we are looking for an HSE Manager.

The Role

• Ensure the company’s Health and safety policy is implemented consistently across the Project.
• Monitor, evaluate and review the Health and Safety policy and practice, make recommendation, and implement new policies and procedures as required.
• Ensure the Managers are aware of their responsibilities
• Monitoring of Occupational Health activities around the site
• Carrying out continuous Occupational Health inspections on site
• Coordinating HSE arrangements with Sub-contractors to ensure they understand their HSE duties and adhere to the Tissot HPC Occupational Health and Safety Management Plan
• Carrying out safety audits on behalf of the Project Manager
• Ensuring COSHH – Related statutory Inspections are programmed and undertaken
• Carry out safety tool box
• Provide Occupational Health risk assessments (HRA’s) and COSHH Assessments
• Undertake safety training for Sub-contractors, Managers and Employees
• Provide generalist HSE advice to site management, Supervisors and Employees
• Provide a monthly Occupational Hygiene report to the site management
• In conjunction with the client, to carry out accident / incident investigations in accordance with Company Accident/ incident reporting Procedure and analyse all data, making recommendations to avoid any recurrences (root cause Analysis).
• Ensuring all statutory inspections / examination are carried out as required.
• Upon request, to provide documents to the contractor safety department
• Formulation of Monthly HSE report to the Client and the Tissot site project team
• Supervise and ensure welding fume management plan is implemented and documented

Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Salary: £350.00-£400.00 per day
