Role Overview & Responsibilities

Hillside Shire Horse Sanctuary, West Runton

Full time (40hrs) per week, 5 days over 7 including weekend working

Fixed Term contract (March 27th – October 31st )

We are looking for staff to join our team at Hillside Shire Horse Sanctuary in West Runton during our 2023 Open Season, to assist in the smooth running of our Animal Friendly (vegan) Cafe, our Gift Shop and Holiday Accommodations

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Cafe: Serving customers, preparation of food, maintaining cleanliness, record keeping
• Gift Shop: Serving customers, completing various paperwork, maintaining cleanliness, stock replenishment
• Holiday Accommodations: All aspects of cleaning and housekeeping, completing checks, ensuring all accommodations presented to high standards for guests

Qualities/Skills required:

• Must possess a genuine interest in animal welfare and willing to promote this
• Good standard of English and Maths
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly approach
• Able to work effectively within a team environment and alone

Possesses a “can-do”, flexible and practical “hands-on” attitude to work

• Ability to undertake manual handling
• Takes pride in tasks undertaken and ensures duties are carried out efficiently within the required time-frames
• Excellent time-keeping and attendance to work

Full driving licence desirable

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months
