Trade Counter Assistant
Role Overview & Responsibilities
The successful applicant is required to have the ability to deal with customers in both an efficient and professional manner , with the aim of enhancing the excellent trading relationships that we currently enjoy with our customers.
Key roles will include stock control , order allocation and order processing. Experience of operating a counterbalance forklift truck at a competent standard is essential.
Previous experience of working in a merchant environment is preferred but not essential, as product training will be provided.
The position requires the candidate to work Saturday mornings on a rota basis, which will be paid at an overtime rate.
Key Information / Requirements :
- 43 Hour week / 28 Days annual Holiday.
- Available to work Saturday mornings - Rota basis - Overtime rate
- Salary - Β£ / Negotiable - Depending on experience.
- Regular overtime available.
- Counterbalance Forklift licence required.
- Physically fit - manual lifting required.
- Ability to communicate well with both customers and colleagues.
