Airport Manager - Campbeltown

Role Overview & Responsibilities

This challenging and exciting role offers a great opportunity for an experienced leader with excellent people management skills. With several years’ experience in a leadership role you’ll lead and motivate a team of dedicated operational staff working across a range of airport roles.

This is a broad role requiring experience in finance and budget management, change management, procurement and project management.

You will be required to assume as operational role within the Airport Fire Service so experience at supervisory level is required.

You’ll also need the ability to achieve commercial and strategic objectives in all areas of service delivery.

Ideally you will have a sound working knowledge of airport infrastructure, operational aviation legislation and demonstrable experience of regulatory compliance. Strong communication skills are essential as you will interface with a variety of stakeholders, including regulators and will represent the airports in a number of forums.

The Airport sustains scheduled passenger services to and from Glasgow, operates an on-call service 365 days a year to accommodate Air Ambulance as well as the Search and Rescue Services, this highlights the key role our Airport plays as part of the local community.

The post holder will be responsible for working with stakeholders and potential customers to develop our Airport Strategy, which will include environmental change with the aim to be a zero-carbon airport and accommodate all types of aviation technology.
