Role Overview & Responsibilities

Dish Washer and Kitchen Porter (2) – High Adventure outdoor education.

High Adventure provide outdoor education summer camps to a range of students from across the UK. An excellent opportunity to join our domestic team as a Kitchen Porter/Pot washer, working in a busy and fun environment. The primary duties are washing up and generally supporting the cooks to provide wholesome nutritious meals for up to 250 visiting children and staff. This is a residential position Monday – Friday based in tented accomodation. For the right candidate living locally daily travel to work is acceptable. The role would be Ideal for a student looking for a short term summer job.

Contract length:

June 5th - July 14th.

Location:

Tawd Vale Adventure Centre, Lowry Hill Lane, Lathom, Ormskirk, L40 5UL.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will be able to work as part of a team.
• Support the cook, to handle washing up in the kitchen.
• Basic Split shift approx. 36 hours per week.
