AEROSPACE AND DEFENCE MANAGER- FREIGHT FORWARDING

Role Overview & Responsibilities

NEW POSITION: My clients a well established, growing freight forwarder seeking an experienced AEROSPACE AND DEFENCE MANAGER to grow and lead the department.

Duties would include:

• Lead and motivate a team of 3 operatives
• Ensuring the smooth running of the department
• Dealing with all modes imports and exports
• Recruiting and training staff
• Negotiating rates with airlines / hauliers
• Building relationships with client

Skills required:

• AEROSPACE AND DEFENCE experience!!
• Experience dealing with all modes imports and exports
• Able to motivate team
• Good leadership skills
• PC literate

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
