Role Overview & Responsibilities

Location – The Harley Street Clinic, Weymouth Street, London

Permanent, Full time, 40 hours per week covering various shifts between 0600 and 2100, Monday- Sunday. Night cover will also be required on occasion

Salary - £23420 + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)

PLEASE NOTE, A FULL UK DRIVER’S LICENSE IS ESSENTIAL

About the Role

There is an exciting opportunity for a Porter to join The Harley Street Clinic. This role is vital in providing a portering/ security service to all departments, staff, patients, consultants and visitors to the hospital as required.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Explanation of room facilities to patients
  • To assist patients with luggage and to escort them to their rooms
  • Collection and franking of post
  • Parking of consultants cars
  • To check gauges and storage of gas bottles, changing them as necessary

Skills and Experience

  • Physically fit, able to lift heavy items when required
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • A full UK driver’s license is essential
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
