Role Overview & Responsibilities

Hastings & Rother Healthcare have an exciting opportunity for two full-time GP Assistant's to join our dynamic and evolving organisation. Previous experience of working in a busy working healthcare environment is required.

The role will have an emphasis on supporting the practice and with the management of patient blood tests and the receiving and processing of patient information relating to referrals and investigations.

You may also give information to patients and their families regarding care pathways, follow up appointments and referral.

Where directed you will support the clinical team in undertaking basic observations and investigations, such as: blood pressure management, venepuncture, recording ECGs and health promotion such as smoking cessation.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake the GP Assistant Certificate qualification.

Salary: £21,137.00-£25,126.00 per year
