Role Overview & Responsibilities

Hardwick Hall Hotel are recruiting for experienced Waiting Staff to come and join our team.

Set in 120 acres of parkland, Hardwick Hall Hotel lies in the heart of the beautiful County Durham countryside. Surrounded by the stunning Hardwick Country Park, our hotel is steeped in charm and character providing the perfect setting for a luxurious break.

As part of the restaurant team our Waiting Staff play a vital role in ensuring our guests receive the highest level of customer service, so they come back time and time again.

As the successful Waiting Staff you will be responsible for greeting and seating customers, taking orders for food and drink, serving food and beverages, cleaning and resetting tables, answering phone calls and general duties such as stocking, sanitising, sweeping floors, etc.

We are looking for someone who is happy to work in a fast-paced environment, with previous experience in a similar role, ideally working within a luxury hotel.

You will need excellent time management and communication skills, be able to demonstrate high standards of cleanliness and work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.

But most importantly, you will have a passion for customer service, and enjoy providing a memorable service.
