EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONERS (Level 2 or Level 3)

Based at Todmorden Children’s Centre Nursery

37.5 hours per week

Working between the hours of 8.00 am – 5.00 pm Monday

Salary – Level 3 £22,278.99 per annum, Level 2 £21,351.98 per annum

This role is ideal for people who have experience of working in nursery settings and are looking for a change or wanting to work closer to home.

Who we’re looking for:

Do you love working with families and supporting parents and carers, through engaging activities within nursery provision? Our Early Years Team is now looking for passionate and enthusiastic team members, committed to supporting children & families.

Based within Todmorden Children’s Centre Nursery rated “Good”, you will be part of a team providing a welcoming, secure and stimulating environment, for children aged between 0 - 5 years. Working directly with parents, carers and children, you will be supporting them in reaching their full learning potential.

You will need:

Ø A full and relevant level 2 or level 3 qualification in childcare

Ø Recent practical working knowledge of EYFS including Statutory EYFS welfare requirements and tracking the development and progress of children

Ø Experience of providing high quality activities for young children

Ø Excellent understanding of the developmental needs of babies and young children

Ø Experience of partnership working with parents and carers
