Role Overview & Responsibilities

Guyers House Hotel is a 4 star country house hotel nestled in 6 acres of Wiltshire countryside. The hotel boasts 37 en-suite bedrooms, a restaurant and a conference suite. We are a small team, who help and support each department to ensure our guests are relaxed throughout the their stay, it is therefore essential for this role that you are team orientated.

We’re looking for a friendly, engaging and compassionate Head Receptionist to join our front of house team. The position is based on a 5 day working week, candidates need to be flexible to cover pre-requisite shifts of both 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm, to include both weekday and weekend shifts.

You'll be experienced within hotel reception, ideally with some knowledge of Rezlynx PMS system. We're looking for a confident individual, who enjoys engaging with our guests and team alike and a strong leader to train and develop their team.

You'll be focussed on delivering a welcoming guest experience, taking care of our guests from the moment they arrive, to the moment they leave. You'll be able to build rapport quickly to hit the ground running in this front of house position.

We would love an organised individual, who is confident using Microsoft Office and receiving and making outbound telephone calls. You'll accurately take messages and pass to the relevant personnel.

Experience within ledger control and duty management desirable.
