SECURITY OFFICER VACANCY

PAYE or Self-Employed with UTR Number

LOCATION - Lutterworth

12 hours per shift £11.25 PAYE or £12.75 UTR

Nights and Day Shifts

0700 - 1900 & 1900 - 0700 on a four on four off basis.

Job Purpose:

Assist in creating and maintaining a secure premises, communicate and liaise with staff and management

Job Description:

· Maintain a security presence at all times in order to create a safe and secure environment for all staff and property within a warehouse environment.

· Log and record all vehicles in and direct to loading bays

· To have an onsite presence at all times, being vigilant, proactive and responsive.

· Search staff on breaks in and out of the warehouse

· To comply with all SIA licensing requirements.

· To provide on-site information and local information to team and customers.

· To maintain the security log in a professional and factual manner.

· Assisting with the effective shut down of the complex on an evening/night, ensuring that safety and customer service standards are maintained.

· To report potential accidents and incidents

Person Specification:

· Hold current SIA (or equivalent) certification.

· Have outstanding customer service skills.

· Ideally have experience of conflict resolution.

· Achievement focussed.

· Strong communicating and influencing skills.

· Experience of working successfully as part of a wider team.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Desire to strive for success and achieve more.

Liaison with senior staff from the client over service provision/problem solving

Liaison with overall site management

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £11.25 per hour
