Role Overview & Responsibilities

Our Kiddi Caru nursery in Grange Park, Northampton part of Grandir UK, is currently looking for a full time SEND Practitioner to help support and care for children with special education needs.

What will you be doing:

  • Acting as a liaison between parents and staff for children with special educational needs and disabilities
  • Advising and supporting other Nursery Practitioners regarding children with special educational needs or disabilities
  • Ensuring that appropriate Individual Education Plans are in place
  • Ensuring that relevant background information about children with special educational needs or disabilities is collected, recorded, and updated.
  • Keeping up to date with initiatives and best practice
