Site Engineer (Civil)

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Goldmax Ltd is now a well-established groundworks and civil engineering company specialising in Groundworks, Basements and RC Frames. Our Head office is in Watford with sites throughout the south-east. Due to continued growth, we are recruiting Site Engineers to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Surveying site and Setting out of works
• Work with site team to advise on Sequence and Methodology
• Liaising with designers and engineers to ensure plans and drawings are accurate and current
• Overseeing quality control, QA procedures and documentation
• Resolving Technical Problems
• Ensure QA and As-built documentation is maintained and distributed in accordance with Quality management plan.
• Material take-off and timely material requisition and material delivery tracker.
• Ensure Projects are delivered Defect free.
• Temporary works co-ordination, Procurement, Delivery, Supervision of installation and Monitoring
• Track and communicate design changes to the team.

Experience:

• Proven experience setting out for groundworks, levels, deep drainage, highways, roads, 278 works and earthworks.
• Groundworks Experience within Basements, Infrastructure, Civil Engineering and Hard Landscaping is essential
• Experience in working on a variety of project types
• Experience in managing a multi-disciplined team
• Temporary Works experience
• Be proficient with a range of design software including AutoCAD
• Ability to deal with clients & internal staff
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, positive attitude and willing to learn
• Excellent organisational and planning skills

Requirements:

• Understand scopes of work and project requirements.
• Proof of right to work in UK
• Ambitious, Dedicated, Team player
• Excellent Communication Skills both written and verbal
• Good IT Skills
• Degree, HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent NVQ Level.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
• Temporary works co-ordinator - Preferable
• SMSTS - Preferable
• CSCS Level - Academically or Professionally Qualified Person/Supervisory/Manager
• Full Driving Licence

Salary: £207.98-£356.98 per day
