Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Firm

The firm is a successful multi-office practice, who deliver a range of services to clients based locally and further afield. We have a national reputation and are a leading Legal firm who pride ourselves on providing a high level of client care and recognising the importance of giving back to the communities in which we are based.

The Role

You will work for the team manager in our residential property department based at our Northampton office. This will be a mixed role with responsibility for ensuring appointments complete successfully as well as the general administration for the matter. The main areas of responsibility include:

  • Scheduling and route planning appointments;
  • Ensuring our Solicitors have the correct bundles ahead of the appointment;
  • Ensuring the appointments take place;
  • Dealing with cancellations and back filling appointments;
  • Taking calls from clients;
  • Being geographically aware;
  • (occasionally) book hire car, accommodation;
  • Liaising with other law firms and arranging meetings;
  • Using our Case Management System for storage and retrieval of documents and keeping file notes;
  • General administrative tasks.

Person Specification

  • Able to work to tight deadlines;
  • Good customer focus;
  • Flexible and proactive approach with 'can do' attitude;
  • Organised and able to prioritise.

Full training provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From Β£18,000.00 per year
