Role Overview

As the Field Manager, you will be playing an important role in the future delivery and management of our teams and business. Leading a team of people to ensure a flawless and consistent gold standard service is provided. You will take charge of timely installations and fault repairs for our customers.

About the Role

  • Your role will involve managing multiple contractors, ensuring they are measured, managed and reviewed against the SOP.
  • Ensure and monitor effective site operations and coordination of works compliant to NRSWA and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Direct line management of a team of field supervisors, acting as a key support and coach, ensuring effective communications and performance management (KPI’s)
  • Inspect sites and locations to ensure compliance and identify requirements.
  • Work with other departments to ensure standards are met.

  • Responsible for gathering and collating evidence in relation to any challenges received, and the timely submission of such evidence.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Owning daily/weekly reports of engineering performance, highlighting any risks that may have arisen to the wider business.
  • Ensuring all new teams have the associated support and that all tooling/vans are available for work to commence at the agreed timescales.

Experience

  • Experience working with both internal & external teams
  • Experience of managing teams involved in customer installations/ service visits, Network repair and MDU block wiring.
  • Leadership experience, leading a team
  • Experience using Microsoft office package
  • Experience in a customer centric, fast paced environment
  • Experience of working in a similar industry or environment.
  • Experience of working with budgets and close financial management
  • Experience of leading a remotely dispersed workforce across a large geographic area
  • Accreditation to NRWSA Supervisor level
  • The ability to communicate at all levels and manage key stakeholder relationships
