Role Overview & Responsibilities

GAP Hastings has a fantastic opportunity for a Trade Counter Assistant / Delivery Driver to join us, you will be part of a close-knit, dedicated team. You will always have support on hand but plenty of opportunities to use your initiative in this position.

As a Trade Counter Assistant / Delivery Driver you will be the face of GAP, supporting our trade customers, be it serving on our trade counter, assisting in the stock room, or making local deliveries to our customers, guaranteeing no two days will be the same!

What to expect day to day:

• Trade counter – supporting our customers to find the right products, processing orders, scheduling deliveries, and taking payment ensuring a seamless transaction with excellent customer service.
• Delivery Driving – delivering our quality products to our local customers, so a good understanding of the local area would be an advantage.
• Stock and Stores - when you are not driving, you will maintain a slick operation in the stock room or shop floor.

Essential Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence.
• Aged 21 or over (for insurance purposes)
