3 Shift pattern job - Mornings, Afternoons and Nights.

Gates Corporation is an industry leading manufacturer of application-specific fluid power and power transmission solutions. The company has facilities around the world serving the automotive, industrial and Oil & Gas sectors. These positions are part of the team at the Cramlington Global Centre for Hose Manufacturing.

Part of the Operations Team reporting to the Operations Manager, and supervised by the Assembly/Production Supervisors

Roles Available in Assembly Lines and Production Lines

Basic Purpose and Function

· Manufacturing, assembly and testing of hoses.

· Operating all related equipment and machines,

· Production of raw materials (pre-production).

· Any other duties as required by your supervisor.

· Strict adherence to all SOP’s and working practices.

Key Responsibilities:

o Safety: Ensure that the safety of all staff when on site is the key priority

o People: Utilise and manage our most valuable resource

o Quality: Ensure that product quality is never compromised. Work towards a zero-defect culture.

o Delivery: Take ownership of the schedule, and any subsequent corrective action plans

o Cost: Be aware of potential cost implications when making decisions.

Skills (manual, self expression, planning, organizing)

· A dynamic approach to get practical tasks done

Education/Experience (minimum required)

· GCSE Maths and English

· Previous experience as machinery operator in industry desired but not essential

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £27,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
