Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for experienced and passionate individuals to join our team of Supervisors. The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising customers entering and exiting the establishment, ensuring only authorized individuals gain access and enforcing company policies. Supervisors are often the first point of contact for patrons so it's important that they have strong communications skills, the ability to remain calm in a crisis and an attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the crowd for unusual behavior and intervene as needed to minimize incidents.
• Enforce the liquor licence and other policies of the establishment.
• Escort people out of the establishment for reasons such as inappropriate behavior or violence.
• Work as part of a team to ensure that all aspects of security are handled properly.
• Perform crowd control duties, such as ensuring that patrons do not line up outside the establishment during operating hours.
• Ensure that all entrances and exits are secured at all times.
• Report any signs of trouble in the crowd to management.
• Ensure that no fights break out in the crowd.
• Remove rowdy patrons from the establishment by physically escorting them or calling the police if necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £12.00-£20.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Plymouth: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• security: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• SIA (preferred)
