Apprentice Butcher

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for an apprentice to join our business. We work 6 days a week. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 730 - 530pm and Wednesday and Saturdays 730 - 1pm. The ideal candidate must be able to learn inshop. Must be able to work in a busy environment as part of a team! We work with the Scottish Meat Federation who use Craft Skills Scotland to provide training and an SQA qualification level 2 Meat and poultry skills. The basic training last 2 years with every module completed a pay rise.

Duties include manufacturing sausages, pies, curing bacons, butchering, serving customers, cleaning following our schedules and health and safety.

We have 2 shops in the Southside of Glasgow. We are award winning family butchers and the ideal candidate must be punctual, willing to learn.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £5.28 per hour
