Heavy Cleaning and Basic Maintenance Worker

Role Overview & Responsibilities

A Maintenance Team Member will have responsibility of the day-to-day upkeep of numerous indoor leisure facilities across the North-East of England. You will work alongside the rest of the maintenance team. This role will be a full-time position working at our Jump 360, Fun Shack, Clip n’ Climb and Inflatespace sites.

Cost of fuel will be paid for by the company for any transport between centres. Once the position becomes permanent after a trial, the position may be provided with their own van, tools and travel costs provided for.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who is based in Newcastle or the surrounding areas.

Normal working hours would be 6am-2pm Monday-Friday (During term time). Hours may vary slightly during school holiday periods. Normal hours would be 35-40 hours per week.

What will I do?

• General maintenance and upkeep of sites
• Cleaning centres,including high-level cleaning.
• Assist where possible with basic plumbing, painting, decorating and electrical issues.
• Organise your weekly rota around the general maintenance and monthly checks
• Help with general cleaning of the sites

Is this the role for me?

• Experience in heavy duty and high level cleaning would be preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety.
• Any experience in using forklifts, boom lifts and scissor lifts would be desirable.
• Flexible in working hours
• Must have a valid driving licence
• Be able to attend emergency callouts
• Are hands-on and take pride in their work

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
