Finance Analyst - 6 month FTC

Role Overview & Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join our Finance team on a 6 month fixed-term contract at French Connection’s Head Office in Camden.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the daily and weekly reporting for the stores and ecommerce divisions as well as helping to drive forward the automation of reports within Power BI. This role will also support the wider FP&A and Commercial Finance team with other ad hoc analysis as required.

Responsibilities

· Prepare daily/weekly/monthly store and ecommerce reporting and responding to queries from management

· Working with our BI and IT team to drive forward automation of current reports, being knowledgeable and clear on data sources utilised

· Prepare other key weekly reporting for management including Homeware sales, sales of a key licensee, brand report and ipad sales

· Continuous improvement of both the preparation and presentation of existing reporting

· Help pull together data for the target setting and bonus process

· Supporting the wider FP&A and Commercial finance team with budgeting and forecasting and any ad hoc analysis required

Experience and Skills

· Advanced Excel user; good knowledge of formulae and manipulation of data

· Power BI experience

· Bright, motivated self-starter who is highly analytical; able to analyse large amounts of data

· Attention to detail whilst also being able to see the bigger picture

· Retail experience preferred but not essential

· Can challenge the status quo and propose solutions

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Salary: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
