Production Operative – Fabricator

Shifts:
Days | 8am-4:30pm.
Backs | 2pm-midnight.

Job type:
Temp-Perm.

Rate of pay:
£11.09-£14.35/ph depending on experience.

The job role includes but is not subject to:
Cutting, punching and folding materials to the specification, drawings and instructions to produce quality products in line with the daily plan. To fabricate extruded and folded materials and bond weld using MIG or TIG processes to the specification, drawings and instructions to produce quality products in line with the daily plan.

Self-motivated and willing to learn new skills. A strong team player who can put forward ideas as well as listening to objectively to others. Someone that is hard working and diligent in all tasks undertaken and reliable, with a good attitude towards attendance and timekeeping. Someone that is able to read and understand engineering drawings to produce quality parts

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 months experience of working in a busy weld production environment would be an advantage.
• Level 2 BTEC / NVQ in weld.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings to produce quality parts.
• Further develop knowledge and understanding of general engineering processes.
• Ability to use measuring equipment.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings to produce quality parts would be preferred.
• CNC Machine Programming experience would be preferred (training will be provided).
