Role Overview & Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an energetic Games master to join our team. A games master is responsible for facilitating bookings and games at Fox in a Box. The games master plays a very important role as you will be the first point of contact for our clients, and you will shape their experience in the escape rooms.

WHO IS FOX IN A BOX LONDON?

At Fox in a Box London, we are a dynamic and thrilling escape room based in the heart of Hackney. We pride ourselves on taking the lead in reinventing the immersive experience industry and changing the way people experience escape rooms.

An Escape Room is a physical game in real life where players are 'locked' in a room and must use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles, find clues, and escape within 60 minutes. In addition to our onsite experiences from time to time you'll be required to facilitate some our off site or portable escape room experiences. A portable escape room takes the idea we just established, but brings it to the players so they can play from the comfort of their homes, offices, etc.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

• Executing high-quality customer service
• Role-playing
• Setting and Resetting games rooms
• Facilitating Games
• General maintenance
• Setting up and coordinating corporate packages
• Setting up and coordinating portable room bookings

REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience within a similar role is advantageous.
• Flexible to work across a seven-day working period.
• Strong communication skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Strong team player
• A cheerful and energetic individual with a positive attitude to learn and develop.
• Ability to work and maximize relationships within a diverse team.
• Strong proficiency in organization, problem solving and communication.
• Ability to work under pressure and towards deadlines.
• Acting experience (preferred)

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Salary: £9.50-£10.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
Staff take precautionary measures where applicable, rooms cleaned vigorously and regularly.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• LONDON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

• Customer Service: 1 year (required)
