Role Overview & Responsibilities

A Fantastic opportunity has arisen on a progressive dairy farm near Penrith Cumbria. Family run, 350 head, pedigree herd of Holstein Friesian cows and followers

All machinery work carried out in house ranging from arable/harvest work to silaging and feeding cows

We require two members of staff, part and full time considered, to help with milking, stock tasks as well as machinery work.

Experience preferred but full training given to the right candidates, all candidates must hold a full UK driving license

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 48 per week

Salary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Penrith: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Dairy Farming: 2 years (required)

Work authorisation:

• United Kingdom (required)
