Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for an energetic, creative and results-driven, Reporting Accountant who will manage and deliver our consolidated management reporting across the group, amongst other things.

This role will be reporting to the Financial Controller and CFO.

Responsibilities (Consolidated Management Pack Reporting)

  • Delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual Consolidated management reporting pack - inc P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow statement and supporting qualitative and data schedules
  • Variance analysis vs Budget/Forecasts and qualitative reporting
  • Balanced Scorecard production
  • Dashboard, CSF’s, KPI’s and performance measure reporting

Responsibilities (Interconnected Reports)

  • Full awareness and pulse on all finance & performance related reports being produced across the business
  • Align and reconcile Finance reported numbers with non-Finance produced numbers

Responsibilities (Projects & Ad-Hoc)

  • Design, implementation and evolution of a “Management Pack Worth Reading”
  • Research and apply ‘best practices’ aligned to our business and audience(s)
  • Build and enhance spreadsheet based models and reporting dashboards
  • Research and implement suitable OTC IT apps and integrate into the finance IT eco-system
  • Other ad-hoc tasks and reporting requests required from time to time in line with duties

Skills & Experience

  • CIMA qualified preferred, or equivalent with a minimum of 3 yrs PQE
  • Good attention to detail
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage workloads and prioritise
  • Effective communicator and keeps the Financial Controller/CFO updated on progress & issues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reasonable knowledge of accounting principles (e.g - Revenue Recognition)
  • Proficient in accounting software (ie - Xero or equivalent)
  • High level of professional standards
  • Exceptional written and spoken English skills
  • Strong analytical and spreadsheet modeling skills (Google sheets and/or MS Excel)
  • Strong presenter with the ability to deliver and explain complex finance jargon in plain English to non-finance people

Salary: £60,000.00 per year
