Counter Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Filco Supermarkets are one of the largest award winning independent supermarket chains in the UK. We are looking for a counter assistant to join our deli team in our Cowbridge branch.

The roll will offer a fixed 16 hour weekly contract which will includes shifts throughout the working week with the opportunity for overtime to cover holidays and sickness.

Duties will include preparation and packaging of cooked meats, pizzas, instore bakery goods, cheeses and hot foods. This is a growing and important department and would suit those with food handling experience and an interest in fresh foods. Previous food handling experience with food hygiene level 2 qualification is preferred but not essential.
