Job description:

IT is a key support function within Forvia Faurecia and is vital to the success of the day-to-day running of the company. This placement will allow students to put their studies into practice whilst developing and gaining skills by being involved in critical tasks within a large global company.

Job duties & responsibilities:

• Assist the IT team to provide front line support to local facility hardware and software
• Support data process and validation tasks including database management and data processing
• Support the IT team with implementation of new business systems e.g. SAP
• Support adherence to “netiquette” and internal controls
• Monitor, maintain and improve security indicators
• Assist the monitoring of critical production servers and computers
• Support deployment and training of IT projects

Qualifications:

• An undergraduate second year student on target for 2:1 or above
• Enthusiastic, motivated and well organised
• Strong written, communication and computer skills
• Hardworking, flexible and reliable
• Able to work well within a team
• Committed to continuous improvement
