Hire Controller

Due to expansion, I am working in partnership with a prestigious client who are looking to recruit for an experienced Hire Controller to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Essentially, I am looking for an individual enjoys regularly interacting with customers, offering support with enquires and seamlessly converting them into sales.

This role is ideal for a standout candidate with great customer service skills who thrive in a busy operational environment to join our client’s team.

In the role of Hire Controller, you'll be responsible for delivering a best-in-class service whilst using product knowledge and expertise to maximise up-selling opportunities.

You’ll enjoy thinking on your feet and using your initiative to ensure you deliver the very best experience for our customers and that we continue to improve the service.

About the role:

• Salary up to £26,000 - £28,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday - 7:30am till 5pm

About you:

• Proven experience in a Customer Service role, preferably handling in-bound order/sales enquiries
• Previous experience in the hire or construction industry advantageous
• Experience in developing and utilising product knowledge
• Exceptional communication skills including negotiating and influencing
• Comfortable using your own judgment and initiative
• A flexible and adaptable approach
• A commitment to continuous improvement
• A good level of computer literacy in MS Office packages
