Kitchen Assistant/Cook

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and passionate kitchen assistant to help support our team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous catering experience, enjoys working in a busy restaurant environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. A successful candidate will have a passion for food, work well in a kitchen team and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare food and drinks for service to customers
• Pay close attention to the quality and quantity of food served.
• Serve food in a timely manner.
• Working as part of a team and supporting the growth of the cafe.
• Be knowledgeable about basic food safety requirements of working in a kitchen. (Food Safety Training provided)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-30 per week
