Experienced Child & Young Persons Counsellor - Yeovil

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Family Counselling Trust Somerset are recruiting Child & Young Person Counsellors to join their team in Yeovil.

FCT are an early intervention counselling service offering low-cost counselling to children, young people & their families.

We welcome applications from counsellors with the following:

• L4 Counselling qualification (or equivalent)
• Specific C&YP qualification (L5)
• a minimum of 150 hrs C&YP post qualification practice and ability to demonstrate sufficient experience to work in independent practice.
• Safeguarding L2 & enhanced DBS
• Available to work face-to-face in Yeovil and surrounding areas.

This is a self-employed role, paying £50 per session. Our counsellors work on an independent basis and invoice us for their work.
