Falafel King is a small business in Bristol. We are professional, agile, and our goal is to provide fresh and tasty street food in Bristols city centre. We have been trading for 23 years, however now post covid we will be building a new team for a brand new kiosk/shipping container. As well as serving good food we want to create with our staff a fun hub for people to congregate..

We are looking for a Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, customer service and a passion for providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for slicing and preparing deli salads, basic cooking, stocking shelves/fridges, taking orders from customers, and ensuring the deli area is clean and organized. The Deli Associate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a friendly attitude with customers at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Prepare food items according to customer orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Stock shelves & fridges with items.
• Operate cash registers and handle money transactions accurately.
• Ensure that all food items are stored properly and that the deli is kept clean and sanitary.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-25 per week

Salary: £11.00-£13.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bristol: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• customer Service (preferred)
• Food preparation (preferred)

Work Location: In person
