Role Overview & Responsibilities

Contract Type: Permanent

Position Type: Full Time

Are you an HR professional looking for your next opportunity?

If you are passionate about Human Resources and making a real difference through working with colleagues who support vulnerable homeless people, we would love to hear from you!

We currently have a vacancy for a Resourcing Specialist and another vacancy for a Data Process specialist in our People & Culture team.

We employ over 200 people which includes a bank workforce of around 40. We use Iris Cascade for all HR and payroll processing including their Recruitment Plus module which is provided by Networx. We have all the basics in place and are a well-established/experienced team.

We need an experienced Resourcing Specialist to re-design, document, implement and embed processes and systems as well as upskilling our managers and leading our bank worker/agency improvement project. Our aim is a right first-time approach to recruitment and want someone with the passion and commitment to deliver this.

We also need a Data Process Specialist to lead on optimising the performance of all our people systems, to build, document and maintain excellent processes. They will also gather and produce data to make evidence based decisions based on our performance metrics. A key feature of this role is to maintain accuracy in how we pay and provide benefits to Evolve colleagues.

Both roles will have administrative support as well as support from the wider People & Culture team. There will opportunities for colleagues in these roles to develop their existing HR skills by providing advice and support to managers and colleagues as a key business partner. We can provide development opportunities in areas such as employee relations, designing and delivering training initiatives and employee engagement projects.

These are full-time permanent roles (37.5 hours over 5 days) but we are open to flexible working requests – such as condensed hours over less days. We work on a hybrid arrangement which is currently work one day per week as a team either at South Wimbledon or Croydon and then a further day we spend working from one of our services based on business needs. Generally the other three days can be completed remotely unless business needs mean we need to be working with colleagues face to face.

Evolve is truly a great place to work and as an HR professional you can really see where you can add value and have a direct link to improving the lives of vulnerable people. From a people perspective our aim is to grow our organisation and the services we provide over the next year and there are some exciting opportunities on the horizon for us.
