COMMUNITY CARE ASSISTANTS WANTED – WAKEFIELD - WF1, WF2, WF3.

• £11.32 PER HOUR plus 40p per mile allowance (Car Drivers).
• £11.02 - PER HOUR plus travel allowance (Walkers).

Ethicare are a specialist Home Care provider, enabling our service users to continue to live independently in the comfort of their own homes whilst maintaining the highest quality of life achievable.

We are currently recruiting Home Care Assistants to join our growing team in Wakefield - WF1 / WF2 / WF3 postcodes only.

Applicants that apply MUST be able to work either or both of the following shift times:

• 07.00am - 2.00pm and / or 4pm - 10pm.
• Alternate weekends

We do ask for our Care Workers to be able to work alternate weekend to ensure good continuity of care to our service users. If it is your weekend on, you will receive a day off during the week.

You will carry out daily duties such as Washing & Dressing Care.

• Administering medication.
• Personal Care.
• Dementia Friendly Care.
• Daily visits, morning, lunch, teas & beds.
• Washing & Dressing Care.
• 7am – 2pm & 4pm – 10pm.

You will also carry out practical tasks such as;

• Laundry.
• Shopping calls.
• Social calls.
• Preparation and cooking of meals.
• Washing & tidying up.
• Accompanying to doctors’ appointments.

Car Drivers preferred - If you do not have your own transport, we will endeavor to find local work for you, however you must be prepared to travel on public transport to various postcodes.

• Job Type: Full & Part-time hours available!
• Part-time hours: 20-25 per week

Salary: £11.02 Per Hour (Walkers) - £11.32 per hour (Drivers) + mileage.

Rotas:

• Monday to Friday / alternate weekends.
• Homecare
• Day shifts
• Evening shifts
