Estabulo is one of the UK’s most exciting and rapidly expanding Brazilian dining experiences. Our brand new Aberdeen site has just opened, bringing the passion of Brazilian Rodizio style dining to Scotland. We are looking to recruit a Host/Hostess to join our friendly team.

Estabulo honours the Brazilian gauchos’ traditional method of cooking, this involves taking the most delicious and flavoursome cuts of meat, which are then skewered and cooked slowly on open flames.

Estabulo’s beautiful interior and dedicated bar area which serves an array of gorgeous cocktails, makes it the perfect place to dine with friends, family or for a romantic date night.

Job Purpose

As a Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for greeting our customers as they enter a restaurant, taking their reservations or putting them on a waiting list, giving them menus and showing them to their seats. You will also handle phone calls and customer queries about the restaurant and menu, and assist various restaurant staff when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Promptly greet every guest with a warm/inviting welcome
• Be able to explain the menu to guests in a friendly and precise way whenever necessary, suggesting appropriate items from the menu when asked
• Maximise potential sale through effective allocation of bookings and walk-ins
• Take ownership of guest care until guests are seated, including keeping the guests well informed
• Adapt language and service style to suit the guest, whilst always presenting in a professional, friendly and polite manner
• Communicate effectively with colleagues in all sections
• Answer the phone and deal with calls warmly and efficiently
• Take bookings accurately, ensuring all details are taken correctly, keeping in line with GDPR
• Actively and continuously take notice of the entrance, reception area, guest toilets and other guest areas
• Ensure the reception area is kept clean, tidy, and fully stocked
• Offer a fond and sincere farewell to guests on leaving

Contract type: Zero-hour contract

Reports to: Shift Manager

Job Type: Zero hours contract

Salary: Up to £11.00 per hour
