SIA Security Officer

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking three reliable and experienced security officer's to join our team at Blyth Valley Business Park.

As a security officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and guests. You will work closely with our security team to identify and prevent security breaches, conduct regular patrols, monitor surveillance systems, and respond to emergencies.

Shift’s: x1 security officer for days: Monday to Friday, 06.00 -17.00
x2 security officer's for nights: Monday to Friday, 17.00 - 21.00

Rate of pay: £10.50 per hour

Duties and Requirements:

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect security breaches
• Monitor surveillance systems and report any suspicious activity
• Respond to alarms and emergency situations
• Enforce company security policies and procedures
• Control access to the premises by verifying identification and ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed on site
• Provide excellent customer service to all visitors and employees
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities

Crucial:

- Must have at least two years experience in a security Industry - Must hold a valid SIA Security Guard or Door Supervisor Licence
- Proven experience as a security officer or a similar role
- Ability to handle stressful situations and work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of security protocols and procedure
- Good physical condition with the ability to walk and stand for extended periods
