PE Teacher

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are currently in the process of recruiting a part-time PE Teacher for our alternative education programme in Sunderland (term-time only).

This role will involve:

• Delivering engaging theory and practical lessons (Sports Leadership).
• Managing a small team of staff.
• Creating positive relationships with young people, parents and carers.
• Creating positive relationships with schools.
• Managing challenging behaviour.
• Completing in house administration (attendance, weekly reports and half-term reports).
• Arranging for guest speakers to attend the programme.
• Arranging sporting events for young people throughout the academic year.
• Supporting with setting up community projects in line with the Directors vision.
• Supporting young people with finding sports clubs in the community.

Hours = 8.30am - 4.30pm

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £20,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
