Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are the leading manufacturer and installers of wood windows and doors in the North East and Yorkshire, offering a range of quality windows and doors for the home, retail and commercial markets.

We have over 30 years of experience providing energy efficient solutions for the home.

Due to continued growth we now have an opportunity for an apprentice Joiner to work in our state of the art Production Facility.

Your role & responsibilities will be to: Work effectively maximising time available, working with our wood machinists learn how to make timber windows and doors.

Exceeding customer expectations and service proposition are a fundamental part of our business.

You will be supported by the Operations Director, and other manufacturing and production employees.

Qualifications and Skills

This role is a huge opportunity to join an ethical business with a good reputation for its employee relations, the business will invest heavily in your training which will include a 2 year training programme with our partners at CITB, costs will cover salary and training, this is a two year apprenticeship with an option to progress to level 3 after 24 months.

It would be ideally suited to this years school leavers and those aged 16-18 year old's but we will consider other age ranges.

You will complete an NVQ Level 2 in Wood Product Manufacture with our partners at Darlington Council Learning and Skills.

We will also consider apprentices or trainees with other providers who wish a change in direction in their career.

Salary: From £216.45 per week
