Night Shift Team Leader - Warehouse

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Warehouse professional to join our team to lead the night shift from 9:30 am to 6 am, Monday to Friday. the post-holder will be responsible for smooth running of the night shift operations within the factory warehouse and preparing and supporting the other shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the night shift operations including planning and organising the warehouse, picking orders, preparing stock for the morning shift
• Working closely with the night shift operative to manage stock and carry out stock checks
• Working closely with the morning and afternoon teams to ensure effective and smooth handover at all times
• Creating a positive work environment and encouraging the team to commit to high standards of performance
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety and food safety at all times, as well as contributing to BRC audits and measures
• Overseeing administrative duties and ensuring you have an attention to detail

Key Requirements

• Experience of working in food manufacturing
• Previous experience in managing people
• Reliable and proactive in resolving issues
• Diligent, trustworthy and ability to work under pressure
• Computer literate
• Excellent organisational skills
• Counter balance forklift driving experience and Mini Bendi licence (preferable)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
