Stock Picker

Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Order Picker will retrieve stock to fill customer orders and transport items to the shipping desk for packing. Training will be provided.

Full Job Description:

· Packing incoming stock away, taking inventory and reporting shortages.

· Keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

· Picking orders as requested by management.

· Sealing and tagging containers, confirming accuracy of orders and signing pick tickets to confirm.

· Receives orders from the order desk and retrieves goods from warehouse.

· Checks packing list for accuracy and inspects collected goods.

· Delivers materials to packing desk for packing and updates computer ordering system.

· Follows safety rules for warehouse when picking an order.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be in good physical condition and have good motor skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
• Must have good hand/eye coordination.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Six months of experience in warehouse operations preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract

Salary: £11,000.00-£20,500.00 per year

• Monday to Friday

• Southend-on-Sea: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
