Role Overview & Responsibilities

Hours:

• 3 x 20 hours per week
• Casual hours are also available.

This is an exciting time to join our Hotel team, as we we embark on our five-year vision to be a world-leading hospitality destination.

We are looking for a number of motivated Housekeeping Assistants to join our successful and professional housekeeping team. You will be responsible for providing clean and well-maintained public areas and guest bedrooms throughout the hotel.

Your duties will include:

• Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and service within guest bedrooms and public areas, adhering to the specified standards and timeframes.
• Cleaning and laundering in all relevant areas, including blinds, curtains, bed covers, duvets, carpets and furniture.
• Ensuring all equipment is in a safe condition.
• Following the correct usage and storage of all chemicals, materials and equipment, in accordance with COSHH regulations.
• Keeping the stock rooms tidy and reporting any stock shortages.
• Professionally and pro-actively dealing with any guest queries.

As a Housekeeping Assistant you must be able to demonstrate the highest standards of work and attention to detail and have a genuine desire to put the guest at the heart of everything you do.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: £10.57 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Birmingham B15 2RS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
