Coffee Shop Assistant/Barista

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is passionate about hospitality, our products, specialty coffee and who can deliver exceptional consistent customer service.

We work in a busy environment so you will need to be able to work in a team at a fast pace, be adaptable, detail orientated and friendly.

While training will be provided barista experience is preferred.

Weekend availability is essential.

What is the Role?

• Delivering excellent customer service
• Speciality coffee making
• Greeting customers and taking orders
• Serving food and drinks to customers
• Clearing tables
• Display, stock replenishment & rotation of bakery
• General housekeeping tasks including helping with dishes etc

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm

Salary: From £10.50 per hour

• Kilmarnock: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Barista experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
