Role Overview & Responsibilities

Experience in pharmacy is required (PREFERABLY in community).

To work alongside and under the supervision of the responsible pharmacist to ensure the safe, accurate and timely supply of prescribed medication to patients. To provide medicines-related and healthy lifestyle advice to patients as well.

To list a few, your role will involve:

• Dispensing medication to patients safely and in accordance with regulations
• Disposal of returned medication
• Liaising with surgery to retrieve patient prescriptions
• Maintaining the dispensary and stock control
• Serving customers and dealing with enquiries
• Weekly MDS tray and monthly care home preparations
• Active participation in advance services (hypertension reading for example)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £11.00 per hour
